Cheeseburger Meatloaf Recipe for a Satisfying Family Dinner

This cheeseburger meatloaf recipe combines rich beef, melty cheese, and a smoky glaze into a dish that always hits the spot. The texture is moist, the flavor is deep, and the gooey bits of cheddar tucked inside bring pure joy. You’ll love how easy it is to make and how well it reheats—perfect for leftovers or meatloaf sandwiches.

If you enjoy hearty mains like Cream of Mushroom Chicken or Loaded Chicken and Potato Casserole, this dish is right up your alley.

Pro Tips for the Best Cheeseburger Meatloaf:

  1. Use Sharp Cheddar: Chopping it into small bean-sized pieces ensures every slice has melted pockets of cheesy goodness.
  2. Don’t Overmix: Gently combine the meatloaf mixture until just incorporated to keep it tender.
  3. Shape It Right: Form a loaf that’s compact but not too thick—this helps it cook evenly and prevents a soggy center.
  4. Customize the Glaze: You can adjust the mustard or add hot sauce to the glaze for a bolder flavor kick.
  5. Let It Rest: After baking, allow the meatloaf to sit for 5–10 minutes before slicing to help the juices settle and slices hold together.
